End Of Arsenal Misery ???

Ramsey after netting the winner for the Gunners

With two wins on the trot Arsene Wenger has reasons to smile. After committing to the club for three more years, Arsene wenger can now  look forward to keep the momentum going in the Barclays Premier League as well. The win againt Marseille was far from impressive. It took a late Aaron Ramsey goal to secure three valuable away points, in a match that could have gone any way. But Ramsey provided a clinical finish that put Arsenal on top their group table in the UEFA Champions League. Arsene Wenger is happy with the "little steps forward".
Arsene Wenger can afford to smile for now

All Arsene and his men need to do is to replicate this performance in their home league. This moral boosting victory should not be taken for granted however. Its a different ball game altogether in the league. Next up Arsenal face Stroke City at home which would provide a further chance to the players to regroup and get going in the league.
Gunners Winter target: Yann M'Vila of France

Things to come may well change for Arsenal and it seems Arsene Wenger has some impressive signings up his sleeve this winter. Vermaelen has penned down a four-year contract with the Gunners which solves much of arsenals defensive problems. However, rightly as former Gunner Dennis Bergkamp believes, Arsenal needs more firepower. Additions to the squad like Hulk, Mario Gotze, Eden Hazard, Yann M'Vila, Loic Remy, Yoann Gourcuff and Lucho Gonzalez. However much has to be thought about at the Emirates regarding the player retention policy.
